A quick update on my saga with the Book Stores in the UK. As some may realise I have tried several ways to approach the book shops and jumped through many hoops, however, this is the result so far.

Apparently central buying is undertake by the large bookstores and they have no interest in new authors unless:

a. You already have a proven sales track record
b. You are famous already
c. Have 5 star reviews (These I do have!)
d. Have a Literary Agent (Still no joy on this front as most are only interested in taking you on if you are at the manuscript stage and not if you have already published your book OR you qualify for a. b. and/or c.)
