Marketing Disappointments

After paying out to have 2 press releases for Life is Just a Bowl of Choices I can honestly say that this has been a waste of time and money.

My first press release was mainly America, Canada and the rest of the world, of which maybe 5% actually bothered to open and read it, and to date has led to nothing.

My second press release was mainly the United Kingdom, of which less than 5% bothered to open and read it, and to date has led to nothing.

Jumping through hoops to get listed by Book Stores has come to a standstill with suppliers saying I am now listed with them and the book store itself saying I am not!

Giving free books and advertising posters to another local book store meant a 2 month wait before the books were put on their shelves (minus the poster)!

With no more spare money to invest in the promotion of my book, I just wonder whether I should even bother writing my second one.
